In this one-day workshop, students handbuild their own ceramic artist palette from start to finish, choosing their own shape, styling, and glaze to make it uniquely theirs. Along the way, they'll learn the fundamentals of handbuilding and the ceramics process, all while connecting with fellow makers in a relaxed, hands-on studio setting.

Built from our popular Comics & Cartooning Workshop curriculum, this 12-week after-school or independent-study club invites 3rd – 6th grade students to make a new comic every single week and contribute their favorites to a class Anthology they print, bind, and take home. Along the way they'll build real skills in visual storytelling, character design, and creative voice through hands-on activities that cover everything from comedy and action to silent comics and experimental formats.
