Spot Spot Studio brings creative enrichment programs to kids through after-school clubs, workshops, and collaborative projects. We come to schools, partner with local art spaces, and meet kids wherever they are. Because creativity doesn't need a fixed address.
Our programs are designed to grow creative confidence, encourage collaboration, teach art foundations, promote literacy, and give kids a space that feels genuinely theirs.
In this 6-week workshop, 3rd - 6th grade students create their own comics and contribute to a class Anthology Comic they take home. Along the way, they learn the essentials of storytelling, character development, and personal style with activities covering visual communication, art fundamentals, and creative confidence.

Ceramic Palette Workshop
In this one-day workshop, students handbuild their own ceramic artist palette from start to finish, choosing their own shape, styling, and glaze to make it uniquely theirs. Along the way, they'll learn the fundamentals of handbuilding and the ceramics process, all while connecting with fellow makers in a relaxed, hands-on studio setting.

Animators & Creators Club
In this 12-week program, 4th - 8th grade students will learn the basics of animation and bring a class short film to life from first sketch to final cut. Along the way, they'll dive into movement, storytelling, and character design through hands-on work in frame-by-frame animation, visual communication, and artistic courage.
Comic Makers Club
Built from our popular Comics & Cartooning Workshop curriculum, this 12-week after-school or independent-study club invites 3rd – 6th grade students to make a new comic every single week and contribute their favorites to a class Anthology they print, bind, and take home. Along the way they'll build real skills in visual storytelling, character design, and creative voice through hands-on activities that cover everything from comedy and action to silent comics and experimental formats.
